Robin's Trump Card

Little Robin Redbreast

Sat upon a tree,

Up went pussycat

And down went he,

Down came pussycat,

Away Robin ran,

Says little Robin Redbreast,

“Catch me if you can.”

↻ APPEARANCES

His human-adjacent form is 5'11", built like he could hold his own in a fistfight. Exceptionally pale skin, blood-red eyes. His natural hair color is white, but he will shift (or sometimes even dye it) to keep it black. He's usually wearing some variation of leather pants, long sleeves, and a rotating choice of useless gloves. He likes cheap-looking jackets and expensive-looking shoes. He has one, crescent-moon shaped earring, and a sheathed sickle on his belt that he takes wherever he goes. Tends to carry himself very informally, slouching and shrugging and keeping his hands in his pockets, but he still moves with too much precision for it to be entirely honest. He's never had a very good poker face. He is handsome if you're into the conventional tortured bad-boy aesthetic, and may smell like cigarettes permanently at this point.

His demon form is easily eight-feet-tall if he were to stand upright, with sharper joints and much thinner limbs. His fingers are long and end in claws. More white hair partly obscures his completely-red eyes - two of which are about where you'd expect to find them, and three of which are higher up under his bangs. This form has small, sharp teeth and legs that let him walk on his toes. He's been known to skitter around on all fours and crunch himself up into surprisingly small spaces. This form is not nearly as expressive as his human one. His voice sounds like eight or nine different people all talking at the exact same time, including a tone that still sounds suspiciously like a child.

The area that could be most considered "his room" is needlessly industrial, but the sky-lights are big and offer a view into all sorts of weird weather and colors of sky. It has intermittent problems with ceiling leaks. Despite occasional complaints, Robin has always been very resistant to suggestions that he should just move into another room.

■ ■ ■

  • (✓) They found him in shadow and showed him how to attune to the mysterious enchanted weapon that he otherwise would have deigned a particularly haunting paperweight.

L I L J A

     ■ ■

  • No particular childhood trauma between the two of them yet, but there's always time for him to fuck up the rest of his relationships with his family, right?

T E K H E T S I O

■

  • (✗) He's mad at Robin for apparently ruining his favorite shadow or something? He thought they were having fun, even if he might have gone a little overboard once or twice.
  • (✗) Maybe Robin is trying to be nice, and let old bygones be bygones. Or maybe he still can't find actual proof that Tek wrecked his lung-heart area, either one.

D A N T A Y L I O N

 ■ ■ ■ ■

  • (✗) Dante hit him pretty hard with some magical bullshit when they were little, which is both a cheap shot to bring up at family dinners and the reason Robin won't hold babies anymore.
  • (✓) As thanks for taking over his position as "crybaby" of the family, Robin showed Dante where to find his sort-of-secret personal shadow if he ever needs a place to hide.

H A R L E Q U I N

■ ■ ■ ■   ■

  • (✗) They poisoned him a little too hard, once. Harlequin says it was an innocent prank that went horribly wrong, but Robin isn't entirely sure that's the truth.
  • (✗) He guesses there was that time he kind of shot them in the back out of nowhere and left them for dead somewhere out in shadow. But he's doing better now.
