All the children of House Hesse have been informed of Greer's death and their presence is required back in Chaos of the funeral at least. Greer's body lays in state in the house chapel, allowing for social meetings and to let the family assemble over time.
Li, Dante, and Quin have publicly been in Chaos this whole time. Quin makes sure they are there to greet Robin when he shows up. The greeting is just annoying enough and Quin gets to assert their authority in matters of house security. Tek arrives with his own fanfare, but no issues. Rook shows up at some point and it is unclear how long they have been in the house. They just show up.
Li is busy being hostess, Dante is busy being upset, crying on anyone who will sit still for five seconds, and checking on the Margrave constantly.
Rook and Li have a tense conversation where Rook lets Li draw all her own conclusions and offers very little actual information. Robin also comes to talk to Rook and the pair end up talking over a couple bottles of wine in the wine "cellar" cave (I keep thinking of it as a weird cave because you want it cool and dark). Rook tells Robin about how it looks like Greer was murdered and shares a couple of their concerns. Li interrupts them to summon them to dinner and suggests that maybe they could bring some wine. Rook makes some thoughtful choices and loads them all into Robin's arms.
Dinner is also tense, and the Margrave is absent, until Dante saves them all by going over his "rough draft" of his eulogy. Many of the family members start bringing up other old stories that maybe Dante could add, which allows for reminiscing without having to look like one is reminiscing.
Everyone goes to their portion of the Ways, or whatever has been set up for them to process as they see fit.
